Easter Printable: Consider the Lilies

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow they toil not, neither do they spin.
                                                                                                    ~Matthew 6: 28

I have so many more friends then last year, I wanted to make sure I shared these printables again, because they are one of my favorites.  I love this song, and I love the Easter season!
Before I start thinking about pink fluffy bunnies who lay eggs, chocolate candy, and jelly beans, I want to start the Easter season off by remembering Him. I love the scripture above in Matthew. Consider the Lilies by Roger Hoffman is one of my favorite Hymns. To help my family and myself remember the real meaning of Easter, I created these printables. I don't have a mantel, so I display this printable on my piano, as a constant reminder of the season. As always, I am happy to share them with you, I hope you enjoy!

This is my favorite version of the song, I hope you enjoy the simple melody as much as I do, I always tear up during the third verse. I love the simple beautiful words of this song, and I have tried to create the same feelings in my printables.

If you would like to print these printables, simply click the image, and it should give you the full size {8x10} print, and you can adjust it from there if needed. Or you can find all of them here in my Photobucket album.

To display my printable I used a simple white frame that I have used for previous printables. I am no floral decorator, but decided to try to make a simple lilly arrangement.
I used a simple vase that I had, but it needed something, it looked a little too-wedding centerpiece for me, so I added some burlap and spring fabric. I hot glued it all together, and tied it with a bow, I like how it turned out.
I love creating these printables, I learn so much from creating them. They are absolutely free, however I would love for you to show your support and follow my blog.

Irish Printables!

I do not go overboard preparing for St. Patrick's Day, but last year I heard the Irish Blessing, and fell in love with it!  I made my first printable, the Irish blessing, last year.  And not surprisingly, it has been a favorite blog post on this blog.  It is great to have a Saint Patricks Day decoration! This year, I made another version of the Irish Blessing Printable, and I also made an Irish Prayer Printable.

They are all 8x10 size.  You can find all of my Irish printables in my Phtobucket album HERE!  Or you can download the image by viewing and copying the image.
I thought this Irish Prayer was really sweet!

You drive me wild... Valentine!

You drive me Wild Valentine!
I think Valentines Day is so much fun!  I wanted to make a treat for my little preschooler's class, that would be fun, but not loaded with sugar.  So I went with an animal theme.

I think it turned out pretty cute!  I decided (EEEk) this would be the first printable I would sell.  I have been thinking about opening an Etsy shop for over a year, and finally had the guts to put something in it.
If you would like you can purchase these printable Valentines HERE for $3.  I am trying to keep it very reasonable.

Item's Needed:
Valentines (You can buy my printables one HERE for $3, or make your own)
Plastic treat bags
Animal Crackers

Cut out Valentines, there is both a girl and boy version.  Fill in the to/from.

Fill a bag with animal crackers.  Trim the bag,  stapled the bag together, and then taped it to the back of my printable!

There you have it a sweet valentines for your kids!

Simplify Christmas~Printable!

This year I was asked to design a Christmas gift for the ladies in my ward Relief Society Group (church group).  They wanted a print that reads Simplify Christmas, Celebrate Christ!
I just love the sentiment, and am trying to instill it in my heart this Christmas season.  It is so easy to get caught up in buying presents, decorating the house, and in general trying to create the PERFECT Christmas, that it is often ends up being more stressful than peaceful.

So this is what I created, I love how it turned out.

It is a 5x7 print, you can click to enlarge, or download it from my Photobucket album HERE.

We were able to get this printed at Costco for $0.34 a copy!  This would make a great inexpensive gift!

I hope that you will use it, and love it!  As always this Printable is completely free, but I would love for you to show your appreciation by following my blog!

Beauty Tips--Printable

Back to school time means glaming it up with all of the latest fashions!  Well today, I wanted to share some beauty tips that have withheld the test of time!

Back in May I helped with a local scholarship pageant to promote world peace! Haha, but seriously the girls were all great, competing in a pageant takes a lot of work!  I wanted to give them something to help remind them that beauty is more than skin deep.  I love these Beauty Tips from one of the most beautiful woman of all time, Audrey Hepburn!

UPDATE:  I wanted to clarify, I have just learned that Audrey Hepburn is known to have quote this poem many times throughout her life, but Sam Levenson is the actual author of this poem.  I originally thought it was Audrey Hepburn, and it is often attributed to Audrey, but from what I gather it was really Sam Levenson.

These beauty tips are far more meaningful then the latest fashions and fads, they have withheld the test of time.  It is so easy to get caught up on what is on the outside, but really when you get down to it, what really matters has nothing to do with makeup, designer shoes, and a stylish do.  These are beauty tips I think we can all take to heart!

The pageant had Hawaiian theme, so I tried to incorporate a fun Hawaiian feeling to the girls printable. I bought inexpensive frames, and painted them a glossy off white to frame them in.  The girls really liked them, and I hope they take the message to heart!

I also really wanted to do one with a vintage feel... and I am on a gold kick right now, so this is the vintage version!  I really like how it turned out, I think I will print one out for my bathroom!

As always you can download these printables for absolutely free! Click on the printable image, and it will give you the full resolution version (8x10), and then you can print them off.  I would love it if you would consider following my blog if you enjoy my printables!

Dad Day--Printables!!

I don't know about you, but I am super excited for Father's Day!  I have so many wonderful SUPERMEN in my life!  I have the best husband, Dad, and Father-in-law, a girl could wish for!  I wanted to celebrate Dad's with some printables!

I wanted to try something new for Father's Day, so I made a lot of .png's (PINGS).  Which are SUPER cool because you can add them to a document or picture and the background color is clear... SO really the possibilities are endless!  I have created a couple printables with the .png's to give you some ideas!  You can find them all HERE in my Photobucket album, or you can click on the image you want and download it to your computer!

The first png's are for DAD!

I have it in black...

Red... My favorite!

And white... which looks a little funky with a white background!  But the idea with these PINGS, you can insert them over maybe a photo, or you can use them in Microsoft Word, just download the file to your computer.  In Microsoft Word go to Insert ->Picture ->From File, choose the image you downloaded and you are good to go!

In Photoshop open your photo, or start with a blank document and go to File -> Place, find the images (PINGS) you have downloaded and insert them into your project.

With these images I have made these printables!  You can download any of the images by clicking them, and saving them to your computer.  Or by downloading them from my album HERE.

Here is a 5x7 printable, I am going to use this in my Father's Day display!
Here are some seals you can use for cupcake toppers... father's day card embellishment etc!  If you would like a single .png seal, you can find it at the top of this post!

Not to forget the Grandpa's I created this printable!
You can add this cute saying to a picture a card, anything!  Does the font look familiar?? It is Sara's handwriting from Our Best Bites that I featured last month in the Ladybird Lend a Hand feature.  You can download various blogger's handwriting for a good cause, for more information go visit Kevin and Amanda!!

Here is what I did with this printable....
This looks a little funny in this setting but what it is actually two cards!  Print this off on good quality cardstalk, and you have two cards!
Here is just the label PING!

This is my favorite... This is my father-in-law (Grandpa Bishop), and his busy grand kids, while on vacation!  I just inserted the PING over the picture!  I couldn't help but add some grunge to the edges!

When I get my Father's Day display up I will add the picture!

I hope you enjoy these printables!  They are absolutely free, and I hope that you love them and use them!  If you do, please give me credit, and email me a picture, or send me a link.. I love to see readers work!  If you enjoy these printables, please consider following my blog!  I try to share many printables throughout the year!

Enjoy, Carlee

I love Mom-- Printables!

Update:  EEk, in my printable from Marjorie Hinckley I left out the word 'I' in the last sentence... I promise I check and recheck, but alas still made a mistake... It is fixed now, sorry for any inconvenience.  If you get the photos in photobucket... choose the Marjorie Pay Hinckley quote, with 'revised' in the title.

I knew I wanted to make a Mothers Day printable, and I went back and forth on what to do.... I have definitely gained a better appreciation for motherhood after being a mom for a while, it is hard work! I choose these quotes because they exemplify what being a 'mom' is to me. I designed these printables wanting it to encompass some of the simple-- often thankless things mothers do everyday, in quiet service to their family. I have many letters from my mother and grandmother that I cherish, these letters provide quiet encouragement and unmistakable love. That is why I chose a handwritten letter as the background.

This first quote is by Marjorie Pay Hinckley it paints a great picture of the mom I would love to be someday. It shows the simple acts of selfless service mothers do each day... I decided to put a clothes line on this printable, to symbolize the often thankless jobs mom do, simply because they love their family. To get a copy of these you can simply click on the image for a full size resolution (10 x8). Or I have put them in this photoshop album here.

This quote is from a Man a greatly admire. It is said that behind every great man is a great woman, and I imagine that Abraham Lincoln had an exceptional mother. I can imagine his mom earnestly praying for her son, just as I pray for my children. I love the sweet tender message of this quote.
To display this printable, I used a inexpensive frame, I painted white, and lightly distressed. I decided to display this printable with a picture of some amazing women in my life... My mom, and my Grandma Lucy. I love this old black and white photo, of my grandmother young and a little goofy. Even though she has been gone for a while, I still love and admire her.. she truly is my guardian angel. I love the picture of my mom and I at Disneyland when I was little. I can think of no greater way of honoring mothers then displaying a picture of these two women.
When I make printables I like to make at least two different designs.... Which is great until I have to choose which one to display in my home. Which printable do you like better?
I hope you enjoy these printables as much as I do. They are absolutely free, however I would love for you to show your support and follow my blog. Also, I love LOVE hearing from my readers if you use my printables, I would love to see a picture. You can email me at ladybirdln10(at)gmail(dot)com.
