And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow they toil not, neither do they spin.
~Matthew 6: 28
I have so many more friends then last year, I wanted to make sure I shared these printables again, because they are one of my favorites. I love this song, and I love the Easter season!
Before I start thinking about pink fluffy bunnies who lay eggs, chocolate candy, and jelly beans, I want to start the Easter season off by remembering Him. I love the scripture above in Matthew. Consider the Lilies by Roger Hoffman is one of my favorite Hymns. To help my family and myself remember the real meaning of Easter, I created these printables. I don't have a mantel, so I display this printable on my piano, as a constant reminder of the season. As always, I am happy to share them with you, I hope you enjoy!
This is my favorite version of the song, I hope you enjoy the simple melody as much as I do, I always tear up during the third verse. I love the simple beautiful words of this song, and I have tried to create the same feelings in my printables.
If you would like to print these printables, simply click the image, and it should give you the full size {8x10} print, and you can adjust it from there if needed. Or you can find all of them here in my Photobucket album.
To display my printable I used a simple white frame that I have used for previous printables. I am no floral decorator, but decided to try to make a simple lilly arrangement.
I used a simple vase that I had, but it needed something, it looked a little too-wedding centerpiece for me, so I added some burlap and spring fabric. I hot glued it all together, and tied it with a bow, I like how it turned out.
I love creating these printables, I learn so much from creating them. They are absolutely free, however I would love for you to show your support and follow my blog.

What an awesome impromptu, blast from the past week we are having here at Ladybird Ln. First my Mom's Porcupine Meatballs, now an Easter Basket replicated from my childhood! I am blessed to have a mom that liked to decorate for the holidays, put me in clothes that matched my sisters (even when I didn't want to), and make fun things for us like these Easter Baskets I am sharing with you today! This is a picture of me and my siblings with our Easter Baskets, circa 1993!
This is a really easy and fun project, your kids will love.... I know, because my kids won't stop playing with their baskets!
Items Needed:
1/3 yard White felt
Scraps colored felt for feet
Pom Pom's
Pipe Cleaner, white
Basket
Stuffing such as Poly-Fil (not pictured)
Googly eyes
Glue gun
Step 1: Cut out Bunny
Cut out pieces for your bunny, I made a simple pattern, you can either click on the image below, or I have saved it on google documents here and here. You will have to extend the arms, and the body of the bunny, to fit your basket. This is my first time creating a pattern, so I hope it works!
With a 1/4 inch seam allowance sew, the colored feet soles to two of the bunny feet.
Then sew, alike parts together, leaving a small opening to fill with stuffing. I left my bunny with the seam showing, because I liked it, but you could turn it inside out to hide the seams.
To give the Ears more stability fold a piece of pipe cleaner, and insert in the ears through the opening of the bunny head/body. I would recommend using white pipe cleaner, I used silver, and you can kind of see it through the white felt.
Stuff the bunny parts with stuffing, and sew up the opening.
Step 3: Finishing
Hot glue, googly eyes, and pom poms to the bunny face.
Hot glue the bunny head/body to the basket first. Then hot glue the arms around the bunny. Lastly hot glue, the bunny feet to the opposite side of the basket. Tie a ribbon around the bunny, and you are done!
Easy, affordable, and fun, my favorite type of project!
