Ladybird Ln. was our first bus stop. It was our turn off to home, and it holds hundreds of happy memories. So we hope Ladybird Ln blog can be a place of happiness, inspiration, and design.
So I had the brilliant idea that my sister and I should write each others bios... I'll prewarn you, this could get interesting. What could I say about my big sister Carlee? I could tell you everything you could find out from facebook; she is twenty something, has three adorable children, Princess (5), Buckaroo (3), and Angel (1). She enjoys running, traveling and reading, but that doesn't really tell you who she is. So please, allow me to give you a small peek into the exceptional person she is. She is kind to a fault, like ridiculously kind. She's also pretty goofy. Growing up there was the running joke about what a klutz she is (she won't admit it, but she still trips over her feet all the time). She is loving, and caring, the way she raises her kids can attest to that. She is also disgustingly creative. She has this style like no one else. I'll be honest, I've never, NEVER seen a scrapbook that can hold a candle to hers. No offense. But really, Carlee Rose is truly beautiful from the inside out. She is my best friend, I can't tell you how blessed I am to have her in my life. I know, if you'll give her a chance, she can affect your life in a positive way as well.
This could get interesting! What can I say about Alyssa, in only a paragraph? Alyssa is without a doubt the most talented person I have ever met. Seriously, there is nothing she can't do. Unlike me, the klutz, she can dance (she was a cheerleader in high school, I still give her crap about that), play the guitar like a ROCKSTAR, design ANYTHING in photoshop, repurpose clothing, cook, play a mean game of Uno, play the piano, plan huge events with ease, and that is not even to mention she was the Speaker at her University graduation. However, I feel I must warn you, never get in an argument with Alyssa, she will win! When we were little I was very quiet, I would have Alyssa (five years younger then me) ask questions to store clerks, basically anything I was afraid to do, and she would do it! She is outspoken, corky, and very fun. She is also beautiful, she has modeled before, and always has on high fashion. She is very creative and has a grungy, vintage, hippy, yet classy chick style. No matter what the challenge is she rises to the top, she has done some incredible things. She is also an incredible Aunt, my kids love her to pieces. She has a secret handshake with each of them, that they like to do over the phone. She is my best friend, I am so lucky to have such a wonderful sister.
