Count Down to St. Patrick's Day with Irish Blessings!

It is getting to be that time of year, the snow is brown, the sun is shining, yet it is still below freezing... we need a little cheer in our life around these parts. I have never done too much for St. Patrick's Day in the past, but this year we are going green (get it, duh)!

The one thing I have found about St. Patrick's day that I absolutely love are traditional Irish Blessings.

You know little pieces of wisdom that have been handed for generations from good Irish folk.  They are full of wit, sweet, and will brighten your day!  This year I thought it would be fun to make a countdown to St. Patrick's Day using Irish Blessings.

I made an Irish Blessing Countdown Garland..

Items Needed

Irish Blessings (You can download the17 Iris Blessings I created at my Etsy Shop HERE)
Plastic Wrap
Candy (optional)
Some sort of ribbon or twine!

Roll plastic wrap carefully out on the floor, place Irish Blessings about 2 1/2 inches apart.  Place Candy on them if desired.  I used Rollos and Hershey Kisses, I wanted to find those gold chocolate coin things, but I could not find them anywhere... it is a conspiracy.

Carefully wrap the plastic wrap over the Irish Blessings like a sandwich, and tie between each blessing.

There you have it, Easy Peasy! Having Irish Blessings ready to print makes this project so easy, and I am not just saying that because I am selling them... Ok maybe I am, but it is easy, and for $4 it is totally worth it, to not have to go through the hassle of making your own!

My kids are so excited to start opening these!

You can purchase the 17 Irish Blessing Printables I created at my Etsy Shop for $4, and I will send you a PDF you can print off from home!  I wanted to keep it at a really good price so everyone could enjoy them!

I like to LINK to these parties!
