Welcome to the Weekend!
I hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July! There is nothing better than a home town celebration! Our activities throughout the day included a 5k race (a couple minutes faster than last year YEAH), Firemans breakfast at the park, flag ceremony, parade, root beer floats and summer slushes at my house, games at the park, a watermelon bust, barbeque with family.... NO wonder I am tired! But it was a GREAT DAY! And in case you are wondering I made those cute watermelon shirts for my girls! I used a tutorial from the Fancy Frugal Life! It was easy, and I got so many compliments, I wish I did a little smaller though!
I wish I would have made some Patriotic Candy bark like the Iowa Farmer's Wife, it looks delicious and fun!
I am loving this quilted Camera pouch from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom, so many possibilities!
Shugary Sweets made the cutest Watermelon Cupcakes! I tried them out this week for a bake sale. I have to admit they did not look as good as hers, but they still tasted yummy!
And the lucky linky for this week is number 50!
Sister-dipity shared patriotic cake bites, how cute are they? That platter is also just darling!
