I am trying to get caught up on my blog this week (somewhat) and shared my Thrift Store challenge from SYTYC! By the way this weeks theme is Scraps and there are some amazing project so go VOTE!

I also shared my family's secret recipe, WAIT who am I kidding, it can't be too secret there is only three ingredients!  Anyway see my delicious recipe for

Speaking of Jack-O-Lanterns, did you see Made in the Shades, Jack-O-Lantern luminaries, they are so much fun!
And if you are going for a fun vintage pumpkin look, check out The Artsy Girl Connections, book pumpkin, it is just darling~

And if you want to eat pumpkin, check out the Lady Behind the Curtains, delicious looking Chocolate Pumpkin Cake.

Or you can try My Lil' Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Milkshakes, looks SOO yummy!
And the blog of the week is numero 30! Talking Dollar and Sents made this 'Darn Tasty' Chile, with pineapples! Sounds interesting!

Weekend Show Off Party~9/23

It is Finally Friday!  My blog has been a little sad this week, I apologize, I have been so busy working on projects, I have not had time to blog about them... But believe me I have a couple projects coming up that I think that you will enjoy, at least I have!

I am super excited to introduce the blogger this week.  I got to know Adrianne when she entered the Pillow Fight (and won) on Ladybird Ln this past June.  She did not have a blog at the time, but decided to start a blog after-wards, and my goodness she has such a fun blog.  She is a terrific blogger, and a great friend, please take a minute to visit her blog!

Hi, I'm Adrianne from Happy Hour Projects, and I am so excited to share a little bit about my blog with you mamas!  I am a new blogger who has been visiting Ladybird Ln. looong before I ever thought to create my own blog (with a push from Carlee, who actually created my header for me), so it's really special to me to be featured here!

At Happy Hour, I create tutorials for quick projects - things you can usually do in an hour or less - and my motto is, use what you have

Most of my projects are made from things we all have in our craft rooms, or I suggest substitutions that might work.  In fact - these are a few of my favorite projects.  (You can click the image to visit Happy Hour Projects for the post!)

I also host a link party every Friday (not to steal the thunder of the *fabulous link party you are here to attend* of course!) and I would love it if you make your next stop Freestyle Friday over at Happy Hour to link up!

Happy weekend to you all ~ Adrianne

Now lets see what you have been up to!

Weekend Show Off Party 9/16!

Ladybird Ln

Yeah, it is FINALLY FRIDAY!

First, I have to show you the picture of the cutest boy ever!  He loves trailers, today he rigged his bike up with his red wagon, using bailing twine.  I love this boy!

Also today is the last day to enter to win
How cool would that be for your blog or business?

Now I would like to introduce Kelly from Creating a Family Home, she has such a fun blog!
Hi, everyone!  I'm so happy to be here today – thanks for having me, Carlee!  My name is Kelly, and I blog about all things seasonal and creative on Creating a Family Home.

That’s where I share free craft tutorials and knitting patterns, seasonal recipes, decorating ideas, and a glimpse into my family’s seasonally inspired life on an old dairy farm in rural Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  I'm mama to an almost-two-year-old boy and a caretaker's wife.  My family and the nature that surrounds us inspire almost all of my crafting.

Here’s a glimpse into my family’s world through my blog, Creating a Family Home:

We live on 400 acres that used to be a dairy farm.  It’s a lovely place to raise a young family.

My favorite crafts are seasonally inspired and often made with things I find in nature and objects I already have around the house.  Check out my Leaf Decoupage Vase Tutorial

…and the photo box gift I made for my husband for Father’s Day.  Get the tutorial here.

It makes a great gift for just about any occasion, and you can save your photo scraps for a set of Resourceful Photo Scrap note cards!  That tutorial is here.  You can see that not much goes to waste in this crafty household!

I am also an addicted knitter.  I've been knitting for seven years and started creating my own knitwear designs and patterns almost a year ago.  Here are some of my recent favorites:

And I have so many more patterns, many of them free, including toddler earflap hats, socks and more.  Check them out on my Patterns page.
Thanks for taking the time to "get to know me" -- I hope you'll stop by my blog and have a visit!  I'm always looking to make new friends with common interests.

Thanks again, Carlee, for having me!  I hope everyone has a wonderful, nature-inspired weekend.

Thanks Kelly, Wow, she has inspired me to start knitting, what fun projects!
