I am so excited to see what you have been up to... today the snow has started to fall (sigh).  But on the bright side, I guess this means I can get caught up on some sewing projects, or sip hot coco all day in my jammies..!

Hi Everyone! I am Sheryl from LADY BEHIND THE CURTAIN and I am honored to the THE BLOG OF THE WEEK here at Ladybird Ln.

I love cooking and baking and through my blog I can share that with you. I try very hard to bring you easy and delicious recipes that can be used for any occasion. I decided to start this blog in the anticipation of soon becoming an empty nester. That is quickly approaching faster then I want but I knew it would happen. Now I fill my days with searching for perfect recipes, making them and blogging about them. Not a bad job. I’ve only been blogging since late January 2011 but I have learned so much and love it more and more!

The Fall Season is here and I have been busy coming up with fun ideas for Halloween and easy food for you game lover or tailgaters. Here are a few of my favorites.

Halloween Cupcakes! These are so much fun and I show you how to make the cute cupcake toppers.

Candy Corn Treats! So YUMMY! You can serve them at your Halloween party, give them as party favors or hand them out to your favorite trick or treaters.

Dill and Cheese Beer Bread! Perfect for game day served with your favorite cheese.

Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting! Made in a large foil pan for an easy on the go dessert.
