SNICKERS Salad!

My brother in law had a birthday this past weekend, and I was asked to bring a salad. Which is no small task considering he does not like anything green! I found this easy recipe for a salad with SNICKERS in it, so I thought I might be safe! Any salad with a candy bar ought to be delicious right? This salad is really fun, a hit with the kids, and you only need three ingredients! A great salad for those last minute pot lucks!
SNICKERS SALAD
5-6 medium apples (I like a Granny Smith, because it is a little sour)
3 SNICKERS bars
1 (12 oz) tub whip cream
Chop the apples and SNICKERS bars into small bite size pieces. It helps if you freeze the snickers a little before chopping them up. Mix the apples, SNICKERS bar pieces, and fold in the whip cream. Refrigerate until time to eat!
Yup that is it! So easy and yummy! It kind of has a carmel apple taste with the SNICKERS and apples! We a had a great time at my brother in laws birthday!

We had all of the family together and ate dutch oven dinner, with my father-in-law's famous dutch oven sour dough biscuits.
We did get in a few sticky situations! These are my cute nieces (who invented those jumbo marshmallows anyways?)! But the salad was a hit!

I like to link to these fun parties!

  1. Yummmmy! We make this salad, too, but we add vanilla pudding (made with 1 1/2 c. milk), too. We call it Candy Apple Salad. Now, thanks to you, I've gotta make it! ;)
