Oh summer... one of our favorite things to do is sit around the campfire and roast some S'more's, but why stop there? I have been loving all of the S'more posts, and Nutella posts I have been seeing around blogland! So I decided to try and combine them both into a delicious.. S'more Pie! My first no bake pie concoction was a little rough, OK it was a complete fail... it did not set up! (To see what I did with that pie go to the bottom of the post). But I did my research, tried a couple new things, and the Second pie is pure BLISS! I have pieced this recipe from different recipes, I found the filling part of the recipe over at the Picky Apple!
Graham Cracker Crust:
*1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
* 1/3 sugar
* 5 TBS butter or margarine melted
Filling:
* Two Hershy Bars
* 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 egg yolks
* 1 whole egg
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1 (13 ounce) jar Nutella
Topping:
3-4 cups miniature marshmallows
Directions for Crust:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crush graham crackers, combine with sugar and melted butter. Pat in the bottom of pie pan, or spring form pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Directions for Filling:
Break the Hershey's bars into squares and place on top of baked crust. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla extract until just combined. Add egg yolks and egg, beat on low until just combined. Add milk and Nutella and mix completely. Pour filling into springform pan.
Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees F. Place springform pan on a cookie sheet and then place in oven. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until center appears set when shaken lightly.
Remove, and cool on a wire rack... up high so your two year old does not put her grimy precious fingers in it! Then place in the refrigerator.
Directions for Topping: Just before you serving, place marshmallows on top of cooked and cooled filling, try to keep away from this sides, if using a spring form pan. Turn oven on to BROIL. Place pan as close to the heating element as possible. Broil 1-2 minutes, turning once... This happens FAST, it would be very easy to burn, so keep an eye on it!
So yummy, this was a big hit with my s'more lovin' kids!
I am so glad the second pie turned out, but I could not bring myself to throw the first no bake pie that did not set up well. Nutella is a bit of a delicacy at my house!
...So the moral of this story is When life gives you runny s'more pie... Make S'more Mousse!
I like to link up to these FABULOUS parties, come join the fun!

You can never go wrong with nutella:) I am just glad that it is more widely available now. When I was little, we had to wait until my dad would come home from Germany to get any.

WOW! I've tried a "S'Mores Brownies" recipe from Betty Crocker's web-site (here's the link), and I had thought it was amazing, but you have definitely taken s'mores to the next level with this recipe!!! You also managed to incorporate Nutella (♥) with my other favorite ingredients (marshmallows and Hershey's chocolate) in this recipe and for that, I whole-heartedly thank-you!!! I can't wait to try it :)
