Easter Printable: Consider the Lilies

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow they toil not, neither do they spin.
                                                                                                    ~Matthew 6: 28

I have so many more friends then last year, I wanted to make sure I shared these printables again, because they are one of my favorites.  I love this song, and I love the Easter season!
Before I start thinking about pink fluffy bunnies who lay eggs, chocolate candy, and jelly beans, I want to start the Easter season off by remembering Him. I love the scripture above in Matthew. Consider the Lilies by Roger Hoffman is one of my favorite Hymns. To help my family and myself remember the real meaning of Easter, I created these printables. I don't have a mantel, so I display this printable on my piano, as a constant reminder of the season. As always, I am happy to share them with you, I hope you enjoy!

This is my favorite version of the song, I hope you enjoy the simple melody as much as I do, I always tear up during the third verse. I love the simple beautiful words of this song, and I have tried to create the same feelings in my printables.

If you would like to print these printables, simply click the image, and it should give you the full size {8x10} print, and you can adjust it from there if needed. Or you can find all of them here in my Photobucket album.

To display my printable I used a simple white frame that I have used for previous printables. I am no floral decorator, but decided to try to make a simple lilly arrangement.
I used a simple vase that I had, but it needed something, it looked a little too-wedding centerpiece for me, so I added some burlap and spring fabric. I hot glued it all together, and tied it with a bow, I like how it turned out.
I love creating these printables, I learn so much from creating them. They are absolutely free, however I would love for you to show your support and follow my blog.
I like to link at these fabulous parties, come join the fun!

  5. Beautiful printable!

Just keeping the conversation going we were continuing from the blog party. I did a lot of fishing with a bucket...trying to capture very little fish and keep them for a while. My parents fished sometimes...occasionally we would take people out fishing with us, but Id didn't like eating fish and was more interested in making them pets. :-)

I'm a learning gardener...not an expert yet by any stretch of the imagination. Though I actually worked at a garden center when I was in college in California, Texas is a different ball-game, plus up until year before last we didn't own any ground to plant in. When we got a house I thought I'd fill it up with a lush garden immediately, but two years later we're hardly gotten started.
