2012 UPDATE: I have additional Versions of The Irish Blessings HERE!
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall softly on your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand

So I have been telling myself, don't get caught up in all of the cute Saint Patrick's Day crafts, you have never decorated for the holiday in the past, you will be fine.... Well, this past weekend, I heard for the first time the Traditional Irish Blessing at church. The words are so sweet they really touched me, so I decided it would be a great way for me to decorate for Saint Patrick's Day.
I decided to make my first printable. I am so excited to share it with you! I used Photoshop to create them, and I found an awesome brush set by Obsidian Down on Brusheezy, and the font at Dafont.com. I hope you enjoy them, I made them both 8x10 so you can shrink them down if you need!
I have more of a vintage style, so for my house I choose to use the the first Printable. I bought an inexpensive frame.

ReplyDeleteMay I share your printable on my blog? I would only use a small image and link to your post so people would still be going to your site to get the printable.
ReplyDeleteIt would be as part of a post on St. Patricks Day printables on suchfuntogive.blogspot.com and possibly on either scribbleprints.blogspot.com or texifornia.blogspot.com in a post I'm thinking about doing about the historical St. Patrick including more religious themed crafts and activities for St. Patrick's Day (I would love to share your ribbon clover there also if I go ahead with that).
